At Simple Joys Planning, I help clients stay grounded. Planning a Disney trip can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Through consultations, I show clients how to sculpt their vacations around wonder and connection while staying within a budget. We work to keep your time focused on what matters most: being present and cherishing simple joys.

ABOUT FIONA HELMUTH
I fell in love with Walt Disney World as a child, beginning with my first visit in 1993. And now, as a mom of two, I visit the parks on a regular basis. I’m a former English teacher who writes novels and loves to organize.
For me, Disney is primarily about artistry and immersive storytelling, along with its incredible attention to detail. I’m also a huge proponent of its imagination and playfulness stretching across generations.
I'm an independent small business, separate from The Walt Disney Company. All opinions and ideas are my own.

The Concierge Service offers a complete, personalized planning consultation. The package includes an itinerary, touring plans for the parks (and strategies), tips and advice, booking suggestions (including when to go and where to stay), a 60-minute Zoom (or equivalent email exchange, if you’d prefer), and as many follow-up emails as you need.
Q&A
$35
A Q&A Session includes a 60-minute Zoom (or equivalent email exchange, if you’d prefer) to answer your planning questions, including ways to avoid wasting money at Disney. After our conversation, I will send you a follow-up email with personalized tips and advice.
Intineraries
$10/park
I will create personalized theme park itineraries that highlight the attractions and activities that match your priorities, interests, and budget. Includes a questionnaire and follow-up plan tailored to your goals and style.

Are you a travel agent?
No, I’m a travel consultant, not an agent. I don’t book reservations or tickets for clients, but I’m happy to point you in the right direction, walk you through the steps, and help the booking process feel manageable!
Can I book more than one Q&A session?
Absolutely! I’m happy to continue our conversation whenever you have questions. If 60 minutes isn’t long enough, I welcome you to book another session or upgrade to the Concierge service.
What are your credentials?
I’ve made a lifelong study of Walt Disney World, including deep dives into its history and the art and science behind Imagineering. I’ve devoured books and documentaries about the parks, truly learning about all aspects of how they work.
On the practical side, I’ve visited the parks regularly for over thirty years, including five times since 2022. After helping many friends plan Disney vacations, I’ve decided to expand that interest to a wider audience.
